Khalida Bradford, LCSW

As a professional woman, we are perceived as having it all together, but often struggle on the inside. Sometimes we shield those emotions in fear or being judged or shamed by others. If you are struggling with difficult emotions or having a hard time transitioning through major life changes, you’ve come to the right place. I can help you overcome those fears and release those difficult emotions. I am easy to talk to and I provide a safe and comforting space where you can process your feelings and embrace your imperfections.

I have over 10 years of experience as a psychotherapist. I focus on building strong rapport and really understanding your individual life experience. Together we will work to build on strengths, increase resilience, and maintain mental wellness. The insight and tools you develop during our time together will be lifelong practices. I value respect, self-determination, autonomy, safety, compassion, and connection. When there is strong therapeutic connection progress is more likely to happen and you can achieve your desired outcome. My therapy approach utilizes different components of evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, as well as positive psychology and psychodynamic.

Life is a journey and participating in therapy allows me to be an integral part of your journey. When you begin to view life as a journey, you can truly appreciate the aspects of yourself that will continue to grow, change, adapt, and transition. Through therapy, I can get you on track to leading a happier, more fulfilling life by equipping you with the tools you need to manage life’s challenges more efficiently and confidently. The benefits and value you will learn from therapy will remain with you once our therapeutic journey ends. It is never too late to start living the life you’ve always wanted. If you’re interested in therapy with me, I would love to work with you every step of the way.

I can provide telehealth to anyone living in California.
